Spearing Teasers

Spearing teasers are by no means a new invention. They've been a trick of the trade for generations.

Often used in place of a more traditional, wood-carved spearing decoy, teasers are another, incredibly effective way to attract pike into a spear hole.

At Grumpy’s Balls we’ve taken this trusty tool out of the tackle-box and gave it a look of our own.

The base for most of our teaser options is golf balls.

Each ball gets a hand-painted makeover, in one of eighteen color options, to ensure they’ll be extra enticing to those trophy fish that sportsmen are after.

After painting, we add some razzle dazzle with hand selected fishing lure spoons and blades.

Each one of our teasers is made with care and creativity which is one way ours are set apart from other options on the market.

Because all of our teasers are painted by hand and finished with tackle we find on our adventures, no two will be the same. This ensures a uniqueness that folks have come to appreciate about our teasers in our years of business.
